SVARAM SOUND EXPERIENCE

We are a growing local/global community of sound enthusiasts, artisans, designers, artists, healers, researchers, trainees and associates

Initiated in 2003 as a grassroots community, rural development project in Tamil Nadu, SVARAM has been recognized by the UN Initiative “Music as a Global Resource” as one of its first 50 projects worldwide. The open association and team of over 50 local artisans, trainees, international volunteers and professionals has always retained its emphasis on the human element, its heritage and prospect of evolutionary change and positive progress.

Svaram’s pioneering products, activities and services contribute to the individual and social harmonization and well being, bringing the life enhancing, cultural-creative and value fostering gifts of music into everyone’s heart and hands.

Being an integral part of the futuristic international community project of Aurovillle SVARAM has a far reaching field of resonances and connections around the globe and we are proud of our global community of friends, sound lovers, associates, volunteers, students, alumni, mentors and supporters.
